Track Weather

The weather at the track is mild in the winter but spring, summer and fall tend to be very hot, often reaching over 100 degrees. Bringing a pop-up sunshade tent is a great idea, but be sure to tie it down since the wind picks up in the afternoons. Bring plenty of water, sports drinks and sunscreen so you can keep cool, hydrate and avoid sunburn, and earplugs are a good choice for spectators.

Thunderhill Grill

Enjoy a pre- or post-race meal at the track’s on-site restaurant. The menu features a variety of delicious options, from an omelet bar breakfast to prime rib dinner, country barbecue and everything in between. The restaurant can also host groups of up to 450 guests for catered affairs. Open Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm; Saturday-Sunday from 8am-10pm.
